Instructions

You need to have Java installed on your computer to use the chat applet

Get Java Here
Once Java is installed then:

Just click the "GroveChat" button and you will be brought to
the #grovechat room on the webpow irc server
You will be assigned a "nick" that looks like this "seeker3928".

To CHANGE your nick to whatever you want, in the text entry line type

"/nick whatevernick"

i.e. "/nick osiris" changes your nick to "osiris"
